Catcher Arthur Wilson was one of the baseball players who defected to the Federal League in 1914, and his 1915 Cracker Jack offered here in a SGC 8.5 holder! An incredible side portrait image of the Federal League’s Chicago Whale’s catcher is strongly projected via a vibrant, “fire engine” red background. Pristine edging and pinpoint corners enclose four flawless white borders that are slightly centered towards the right. The reverse side jet black print is vividly registered, completing this marvelous offering that has only been bested by ONE other example.
