A reporter once said that Ruth never met a hot dog he didn`t like. The same can be said of fastballs and fast women. The Babe simply had an appetite for life. He was quite simply the greatest player to ever step foot on a diamond. Shown here early in his Yankee career on one of the greatest card issues of all time. The ornate oval frame is perfect for the 20`s. Soft at the corners with a bit of handling (every kid wanted to hold this card!) with a fantastic reverse, this is a nice Ruth to own. A piece of history.
