Few Goudeys are more attractive than the ’33 Paul Richards. This is pure 30’s baseball, with perfect illustrations of equipment and ballpark. The exaggerated perspective of the illustration also gives an amazing sense of motion and delivers pinpoint importance to the subject – Richards. A solid every day catcher, Richards was most famous as a manager. Considered to be among the most brilliant dugout minds of all time, Richards was an innovative strategist and superb judge of talent, particularly with pitchers.
