From 1929-1933, there may have been no more feared slugger in the NL than Chuck Klein. The Phillies outfielder smashed balls around the tiny Baker Bowl making big league pitchers look like Little Leaguers. The NL MVP in 1932, Klein won batting’s Triple Crown in 1933, but lost out on a second MVP to King Carl Hubbell.
