Arnovich was a solid outfielder who hit only 22 home runs in 590 career games, but always found a way to reach base. Hubbell was simply the best National League pitcher of his time. His performance in the 1934 All Star Game forever cemented his position in baseball lore and helped pave his path to Cooperstown.
