Bowman played the budget conscious company in 1951, using the same image of Snider it had in the previous year’s set. For the purist, this is baseball at its best. The empty pre-game stadium, the perfectly manicured turf and the young slugger, happy to be at the ballpark. Graced by bold colors, immaculate borders and crisp corners, this eight is worth every cent of market price and can only continue to increase in value as the years continue.
