Drabowsky fled Poland with his family to escape the Nazis in 1938 and ended up living the American dream of playing baseball. At his best in the 1966 World Series, Drabowsky mowed down 11 Dodgers, including six in a row, to help propel the Orioles to a Game One win, while setting the stage for a four-game sweep.
