The Georgia Peach represents baseball royalty at the sport’s highest level. Never did any hitter so intimidate entire teams, as did Cobb. This Sporting News premium postcard, was certainly handled by numerous early fans, as can be seen by its edge and corner wear. But the image on this amazing relic is unmistakably Cobb. A treasure at any grade, this Cobb shows far beyond its POOR 1 grade. Don’t consider this tiny bit of baseball lore as a postcard, consider it a true artifact of the game.
