McDougald was coming off of a stellar season when this card was made, having reached his career high for batting average .315. Topps thought McDougalds’ star was back on the rise and awarded him the coveted number 200 in their set. A nice sentiment, but there were probably more deserving players. This amazing PSA 9 is truly a work of art. We can’t find a single flaw of any type. PSA lists one GEM 10 of this card in its records--and we would love to compare it to this example, because we can’t imagine a card any nicer than this.
