Pitler played briefly with the 1917 Pirates, then devoted the rest of his life to coaching and scouting. One of the most popular and loyal baseball men of all time, Pitler bled Dodger Blue after joining the organization. When the team announced its westward move, Pitler stayed on the east coast and served as one of the team’s most valued scouts. POP REPORT: Exceeded by only 2 PSA 9’s.
