Masterpieces and Uncommon Commons XXVII

After failing as a hitter (lifetime .210 average), Hall re-emerged as a pitcher and went on to become one of the dominant relievers of the 1960’s. In his final 462 innings, Hall only walked 23 batters, not including intentional passes. An extraordinary story behind an extraordinary card--a card without peer, since no GEM 10’s have been graded.
POP REPORT: Highest example graded. One of seven PSA 9’s.
