From 1904-1906, Owen dominated American League hitters, winning 64 games. Blessed with a rising fastball and pinpoint control, Owen was a linchpin in the 1906 World Champion White Sox rotation. For the trivia buff in you, Owen was the first pitcher in the American League to ever steal home. After a solid 82-67 career, Owen left baseball to become a physician.
