Pafko was an essential cog in the Cubs machine that represented the NL in the 1945 World Series. Driving in 110 runs that season, Pafko would go on to star in Brooklyn, playing alongside Duke Snider and Carl Furillo for what many experts believe was the Dodgers’ greatest outfield of the era. Pafko’s ’52 is a tough card to find in any reasonable grade, due to its status as the first card in Topps most storied set. If you need a nice Pafko for your ’52 set, or simply need a great looking placeholder before you can track down a high-grade example of this card, this EX -Mt 6 is a winner.
