One of the finest outfielders of the 1950’s was the Boston Red Sox star right-fielder Jackie Jensen who managed to capture an MVP award in 1958 as well as driving in over 100 runs in five of his seven seasons with Boston. Dubbed by Ted Williams as the finest outfielder he ever saw, Jensen was originally regarded as Joe DiMaggio’s successor until a young rising star by the name of Mickey Mantle afforded the Yankees the opportunity to release him to Washington, with Jensen eventually finding his way to Boston. His remarkable 1955 Topps PSA 9 offering just happens to be one of only two examples at this pinnacle tier, sharing the spotlight as the highest graded PSA specimen in existence! Extremely sharp images, bright colors, and pin-point corners lead the way for a card that will undoubtedly find its way to one of the elite 1955 Topps compilations in the hobby!
