This stunning SGC 5 depicts the great Cy Young pictured in a 19th century style laced front uniform with a scarlet red background.   Young was an intense competitor, who tossed three career no-hitters among his record 511 wins. In 1904, Young outdueled Rube Waddell in a classic matchup of Hall of Fame pitchers. So focused on retiring the batters was Young that he didn’t realize until the contest had ended that he had just pitched a perfect game.
