Harry Perkowski’s last Major League season was actually 1955, winning only 33 games over that span for the Reds and Cubs. Certainly a below average professional hurler, his representation on this spectacular 1955 Topps PSA Mint 9 offering exceeds all of his wildest expectations as a cardboard success. Consider that only a mere 3 copies have managed to reach this pinnacle tier, with this offering sharing the spotlight as the finest of its kind! Perkowski’s good natured grin is a testament to everything our National Pastime should represent, and only moderately favors the left edge. The remaining attributes of this museum worthy offering are consistent with an immaculate example including a flawless red hues background, razor sharp corners, and four blinding white borders. Unlike Perkowski’s sub-par career, this near-perfect cardboard specimen would make a sure fire winner for any elite enthusiast!
