Masterpieces and Uncommon Commons XXXVIII
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 1/26/2012
A casualty of war of another sort, Dick Brodowski was just 19 when debuted with the Red Sox in 1952, in a formidable rotation that included Mel Parnell, Mickey McDermott, Dizzy Trout, and Sid Hudson. He went 5-5 his rookie season. After leaving for two years of military service, however, the New Jersey native sadly never returned to his youthful form, and he was ineffective as a pitcher. Population of just 6 with none grading higher.
