Masterpieces and Uncommon Commons XXXVIII
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 1/26/2012
A delightfully sharp and accurately centered example from the 1955 set showcasing New Jersey native and slick fielding first-sacker, Bill Glynn, who collected fewer total errors (19) in his brief four-season career than he did doubles (22). Long-time collectors of the celebrated ’55 set will also recognize Glynn as one of the set’s most challenging cards to locate in grades of NM/MT 8 or higher, as only 42 total examples can be counted at the top of PSA’s pop chart.
