The final card in the 1954 Topps set is one of Ted Williams most attractive and colorful cards. The front of the card has a portrait of Williams and also shows his classic batting follow through. The reverse tells us in comic book form how Ted had the opportunity to sit out the last game of the 1941 season to insure a .400 average and yet chose to play and raise his average to .406.
