The most popular of all Cicotte cards in stellar condition! Eddie shown smiling four years before the “Old Roman” Charlie Comiskey had him benched, thus denying the hurler his 30th win and a $10,000 bonus. Of course, $10,000 is what Cicotte received for his part in the Black Sox scandal. Amazing card. Brilliant color at every turn. No caramel stains. The tiniest bit of common aging keeps this from being a nine or higher!
