Had Addie Joss not tragically passed away after completing only 9 Major League seasons, he could well have been one of the top 10 pitchers of all time. One of the most under rated hurlers to ever toe the pitching rubber, his 1.88 lifetime ERA is still 2nd best only to Ed Walsh, who coincidently, he bested 1-0 when in 1908 he tossed a perfect game. The Addie Joss E90-1 landscape pitching pose presented here in a PSA 3 holder is one of the highly sort cards in the set, and the tougher of the two Joss cards. The Joss image provides vivid registration set against a blue sky and green field background. Centering is relatively 50/50 both ways and no major creases are evident. Only slightly rounded have downgraded the grade to VG status. Overall, a very eye pleasing example of a super HOF pitcher.
