HOF pitcher Charles “Chief” Bender is offered here in an ultra rare E93 high grade PSA NM 7. Currently, of the 39 encapsulated PSA examples, there are only 2 PSA 7’s with the only higher graded specimen a PSA 8 with a qualifier. In lieu of this, realistically speaking, this certainly qualifies as one of the two highest graded PSA E93 Benders. The “Chief”, as he was commonly called, was a mainstay for the great Connie Mack Philadelphia A’s early 20th century teams, and this card in it’s high-end grade offers the same homage to the card industry. A very eye pleasing throwing image of the great right hander is supported by an unblemished soft blue background. Straight edging, sharp corners and a clean checklist back all contribute to the near mint grade. Since high grade “E” cards may be the “hottest” commodity in the card market, you should not be bashful in your pursuit of this near mint beauty!
