One look at this Honus Wagner 1915 Cracker Jack makes you wonder how it could not achieve VG status. Graded an SGC 30/2, the great “Hans” never looked better in this side portrait image. With most Wagner portrait images reflecting the famous T206 pose, this “side” portrait photo provides a different look to the “Flying Dutchman”. Fine registration that includes an ideal red background setting is framed by solid edging. The corners, while slightly round, are perfectly uniform adding to the incredible eye appeal of the card. A relatively clean back provides the final highlight to a very high end eye appeal card for the grade. Wagner is renowned as the greatest shortstop to ever play the game, and this representation of him from a legendary early 20th century set would instantly augment any card collection.
