A stout backstop who made himself a good hitter, Burgess retired with a .295 mark and a then record 145 career pinch hits. Of particular note, Burgess was Harvey Haddix’s batterymate for his legendary 12-inning perfect game. This 8 is absolutely stellar with blazing whites and incredible color.
