Rickey may have been the shrewdest businessman in baseball history. From inventing the farm system to breaking the color barrier, to give his Brooklyn Dodgers a decided advantage, as well as doing “the right thing,” Rickey was the game’s most inventive catalyst. A card from his playing days is always a valuable addition to any collection. A tough card, like most Cracker Jacks, fewer than 50 of his 1915 Cracker Jacks have been slabbed by PSA. This example shows incredible color, no wrinkles and just a minor, minor hint of caramel staining that neither impacts the card’s appeal or overall appearance.
