Auction Rules
1. Registration-Bidders can register through our online form. Internet registration can be done by going to www.goodwinandco.com. You can register by phone at 314-849-9798. Important Note: To bid online, you must register online.
2. Auction Opening Date- The auction begins Saturday, January 7, 2012. Phone bids will be accepted at 314-849-9798 Monday-Friday between the hours of 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM Central Time. Internet bidding will be open 24 hours a day.
3. Bidding-Preliminary bidding will end at 9:00 PM Central on the auction closing date Wednesday, January 25, 2012. If you have not bid on an item before 9:00 PM Central, Wednesday, January 25, 2012, you cannot bid on that item after 9:00 PM. A fifteen minute rule will apply after 9:00 PM Central. If any bids are received on any lot during the 15 minute time period, then the auction will remain open for an additional 15 minutes. This will continue until there are no bids on any lots for a 15 minute time period. At that time, the auction will automatically close and each lot will be awarded to the highest bidder.
4. Buyer's Premium- A 19% Buyer's Premium will be added to all winning lots.
5. Payment- Payment for winning lots must be received no later than 14 days after the close of the auction. Payment due date is Friday, February 10, 2012. Personal Checks, Cashier's Checks, Money Orders or wire transfers will be accepted. We cannot accept any credit cards or Pay Pal as payment for this auction.
6. Shipping- Reasonable and appropriate postage and insurance will be added to all winning lots.
7. Population Figures- All population figures came from the PSA Population Report online as of January 1, 2012.
8. Top All Bids - Bidding increments are 10%. Top All Bids are welcome and are held in the strictest of confidence.
9. Bid Retractions -Once a bid is placed, it may not be retracted.
10. All Sales Final - All sales are final. No returns. Please call prior to Wednesday, January 25, 2012, for descriptions and scans.
11. Acceptance of Terms- By placing a bid, you have agreed to the terms and conditions of this auction.
