Ted Williams started his famed .407 season in 1941 with an identical beginning in 1953 as he averaged a phenomenal .407 in just 37 games played. This lot features a Hillerich and Bradsby W166 bat that measures 35 inches and weighs 32.5 ounces Williams used during the '53 campaign. The bat has been graded a 7 by PSA and comes with a full LOA. The bat has general scuffing on the barrel, but no visible ball marks. The model number (W166) is stamped into the knob and Williams' number is written on the knob in black marker. The bat exhibits light use and possesses identifiable player use characteristics. The bat also has been signed and authenticated by PSA with a full LOA by Williams on the barrel below the Louisville Slugger imprint on the bat.
